Do I believe in Fate?

Poem by Melissa Kummerow

Do I believe in fate?

I believe in angels,

and I believe in demons,

their work in human hands.

I believe in Providence;

the prayers of saints and Mary.

I believe in man’s free will,

how time’s a golden-ratio pill.

So if all this is the name of fate,

Then yes, I do believe of late.

Do I believe in fate?

I believe in angels,

And I believe in demons…
